Spadina Museum’s Restoration: An Introductory Tour
| Spadina Museum: Historic House & Gardens is currently undergoing a restoration to reflect the inter-war era, with a focus on the 1920s. The restoration will offer visitors a chance to return to this fascinating era and to the prestigious home of the Austin Family as it was during this time. This video takes viewers on a selected tour of the rooms currently being restored and answers many questions related to the restoration - including "Why restore?" and "Why the 1920s?". Spadina Museum's restoration will finish in the fall of 2010. The museum is presently closed to the public as it prepares for its grand re-opening.
