Together with students from the University of Texas San Antonio, College of Architecture, the Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) coordinated a 4-day service project called STAR (Students Together Achieving Revitalization). This group of students came together during the first two weekends of November to assist homeowners in the Dignowity Hill Historic District with minor exterior repairs and maintenance projects to 13 houses. The work that was performed included minor repairs to windows, siding, and porches as well as general exterior yard maintenance and painting.
